Fresh Spring Greens & Coastline Droitwich Salt

Enjoy our simple seasoned spring greens, perfect with a roast, or served with fish. At under 5 minutes cooking time, it’s a great summer staple in our house.


Ingredients


1 bag of mixed spring greens

Olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

Coastline Droitwich Salt

Fresh ground black pepper

Juice of 1 lemon


Method

  1. Steam the spring greens for 2 minutes and leave to cool.

  2. Heat up a couple of glugs of olive oil in a big pan and add the garlic. Fry on a medium heat until the garlic starts to colour, being careful not to burn.

  3. Add your spring greens to the pan and fry for 3 – 4 minutes, moving the leaves around to ensure the garlic and oil evenly coats the veg.

  4. Remove from the heat and add lemon juice to taste and a good sprinkle of Coastline Droitwich Salt and black pepper. The wild fennel, dulse and lemon verbena in the Coastline Droitwich Salt combine to give this dish a delicious fresh taste.
